Update: I reinstalled both the NoDVD mainapp and the script program itself, yet it still won't play nice with FF/FI. Launching the new mainapp directly from the program folder gets the FF/FI mod working. I'll go ahead and reinstall the game, then the FF/FI mod, then mainapp, then scripts.

If I run the new mainapp.exe directly from Program Files\EA Sports\Madden NFL 08, the FF/FI mod works fine. I'll go ahead and reinstall Calhoupe's, but I'm still confused.

And now I have a new problem. I went ahead and installed Calhoupe's scripts, added the new mainapp.exe, but now my FF/FI mod seems to not work any more. The menu graphics are all stock again, and Jinx's 2017 roster doesn't show up in the load menu. I went ahead and re-added every file for FF/FI, and...

Could be. Make sure your display drivers are up to date. And use calhoupe's scripts to make the menu be 1920x1080. That's what I plan on doing. Only thing is I need to download the new mainapp.exe because I'm using the downloadable version, and the site he has his files hosted on doesn't feel right...

What OS are you running, what resolution do you run the game at, and does it only happen when quitting a game, or does it happen at other times? Additionally, have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game? I'm running Windows 10, the game is at 1920x1080, it seems to only happen after quitt...
