That's one reason why I have my backup copy stored on a flash drive and in the cloud. Solid state media is better than mechanical media and remote servers are better than solid state media. Well... so long as the company whose cloud you use has a policy that ensures your data will be stored securely and protected from loss with some fail-safes, that is.
