Keeping default rosters

Hello new madden 08 PC user here. I have the game up and running, runs like absolute butter, gameplay is awesome. I have a question on something if it is possible. I love the graphical/texture smoothness in the graphical upgrade but I dont want the updated rosters/teams/portraits that come with it. I want to keep the default 08 rosters. I already saved a copy of the default rosters on the game. I also installed calhoupes scripts which work perfect. I installed the FF/FI mods including the Core files, program files and graphics files using this link: https://footballidiot.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=19683. Also, If possible I want to keep the default main menu screen as well.
