My only fear of windows 10 is not being able to play Madden 07. Plus, nza's editor and amp.
I keep reading about scripts and crashing and i dont want to let 07 go.

Well, it's likely that Madden 07 will be affected by the same crashes that force players of 08 to use calhoupe's scripts. I guess you could possibly ask calhoupe to look into at least fixing the penalty crashes on 07, but he'd probably need to own 07 to fix it.
If you absolutely must continue using 07 and not 08, then you could likely run Windows 7 in a virtual machine and be fine. I don't know how well Madden will play in a virtual machine, but 07 is not very intensive. If it doesn't work in a virtual machine, dual booting with Windows 7 would work, but I still wouldn't recommend it. Once Windows 7 is no longer supported, you'd need to disable your network interfaces if you want to stay fully secure.
I guess, in theory, you could try running 07 on Windows 10 using calhoupe's scripts for Madden 08, but it's quite possible it won't work. Do you not have a copy of Madden 08 to switch to, rather than keeping 07? If you want to test it out, I can provide you with Windows 10 and Windows 7 ISO files that you can use in a virtual machine to test Madden 07 on each platform. You'd need a product key for full use of the ISO files, but 10 will work fine for the most part, and 7 will work fine for 30 days.
I can confirm that NZA's Editor and Madden Amp both work perfectly fine on Windows 10.

I think I have a copy Madden 07 still lying around somewhere. Do we know for sure that Madden 07 crashes similar to 08 on Windows 10?

Re: an inexpensive option to upgrade computers for madden
Hello, Hopefully someone can help me...
I have a Intel Thinkpad laptop from 2015 that I was using to play 08 on and was going to get Madden 19.
However
My video card is a GeForce 840M while the minimum according to Can I Run It is GeForce GTX 660.
My CPU is i7-5500U where the minimum is i3-4350.
My CPU is 2.4 GHz, My Ram is 8.0 GB and I’m running windows 10. I have plenty of disk space so that’s not a problem. My concern is the video card and CPU
Does anyone know or have an idea if the game would work for me, even if it were at lower settings?? I’m not getting a new computer for one new game, don’t have the money anyway haha. So I’m hoping the game would maybe work.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Yes I'm a Miami Dolphins fan. No I'm not from Florida but rather New York. No one else in my entire family is a Dolphins fan. Doesn't make sense right? Don't ask any questions

As others have suggested, if it is one thing you want to not skint on is the GPU. Games like MADDEN will only get power hungry with 4k and more so shop around for a GPU that gives you good shelf life. As gaming industry continues to exploit the fast paced GPU development and early access, the visuals will only get better and better with each new release of a game. Check this list here that might probably help: https://thewiredshopper.com/gpu-hierarc ... card-list/
