The Fictional NFL

Postby KO'BBF » Sun Mar 25, 2018 11:04 pm

I decided to take my fictional league idea one step further, and create a fictional league with the NFL teams. This has been done before, but this is my version of the old idea.

Each of the 32 NFL teams are stocked with fictional players. The free agent pool has only fictional players. Every coach, including the free agent coaches are fictional.

This is only a roster, but just load it up and create a franchise and instantly you have 30 years of the Fictional NFL. You can do a league draft and have a different experience every time.

Thank you very much. The one thing I forgot to do is reorder the depth charts.

You know, I always wanted to create a roster like this but could never find the motivation. Good on you for doing it.

I used to do this very thing back on the old XBOX Maddens. The game had a limit on how many players could be created, but on the ol' beast of the xbox, you could easily replace 30-35 players on every team, as well as build a substantial Free Agent Pool.
I would release existing players, manually lower their attributes until they were 12 OVR, then start a franchise and perform the Fantasy Draft.
Since the original players, now in the Free Agent Pool, had OVR of 12, most of them, if not all were gone after the first couple of seasons.

Anyway, sorry for rambling.
I read this and it brought back some good memories...thanks for sharing your file.
