Imagine if they had built on it, that would've been a super cool feature for a coaching RPG. It says it's only for the PS2 but has a USB, wonder if it works for PC. Either way the reviews on OSF for the headset have been bad, they said it rarely understood the voice commands.
PCSX2 is capable of playing games that use microphones and gaming headsets. There's a USB plugin that allows PC USB devices to be recognized by PCSX2. Logitech is prefered. I don't have a gaming headset. I may purchase a cheap set for $25 and give it a shot.
As a retired IT professional who has used and tested many voice recognition packages. You can't just put on the headset and start talking. There's always been a process of training the app to understand the users enuciations to improve accuracy. As far as the voice recognition used in HC, it could've been a simple thing as speaking clear english and a good quality mic.
There's also a plugin for ethernet to allow PCSX2 games to be played online.
Eh. Head Coach without sliders is like burnt steak. Cool that PCSX2 has that built into it though.
Nothing can change the horrible AI play calling. Burnt steak with or without imo. No need to relive the nightmare.
