Imagine if they had built on it, that would've been a super cool feature for a coaching RPG. It says it's only for the PS2 but has a USB, wonder if it works for PC. Either way the reviews on OSF for the headset have been bad, they said it rarely understood the voice commands.

PCSX2 is capable of playing games that use microphones and gaming headsets. There's a USB plugin that allows PC USB devices to be recognized by PCSX2. Logitech is prefered. I don't have a gaming headset. I may purchase a cheap set for $25 and give it a shot.

As a retired IT professional who has used and tested many voice recognition packages. You can't just put on the headset and start talking. There's always been a process of training the app to understand the users enuciations to improve accuracy. As far as the voice recognition used in HC, it could've been a simple thing as speaking clear english and a good quality mic.

There's also a plugin for ethernet to allow PCSX2 games to be played online.

Eh. Head Coach without sliders is like burnt steak. Cool that PCSX2 has that built into it though.

Nothing can change the horrible AI play calling. Burnt steak with or without imo. No need to relive the nightmare.

Is there a way to just play HC 06 with just the updated roster? I have downloaded the mod, but having issues to get to work all the time. I would much just rather play the base game with updated roster. If this is possible, which file(s) should I be using only? Thanks.

The roster is imbedded in the DB_Template file.

I ran into a issue while playing the game with the mod. Most of the time when I load up just a "play now" game, all of the players load up in what seems to be pro bowl uniforms. The stadium that I am playing is wrong, and normally it crashes after a play or 2. What did I do wrong? I literally copied all of the latest files into the documents - nfl head coach directory. Is there something else that I need to have installed as well?

I assume you only downloaded the files from the op. If you read further, further in, there are updated files with instructions of use.

When you refer to OP, I assume you are referring to Operation Sports? If so, I went to the forum (NFL HEAD COACH 22 MOD! (06)) on the site, and downloaded the custom changes from the google drive that is shared on the first page. I added those files to my documents folder as stated. I did not see any additional files to download as I went through the 3 pages. I could have overlooked something, but not sure I did.

First of all, I am new to forums, and new to this site. No need to be rude. I am still learning. Sorry for not knowing the lingo. I think I figured the issue out. It seems that the "coach now" feature is the part that is broken, but the career part works. Thank you.

I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. I was only trying to point you in the right direction.
