Does changing quarter length effect stats across the league?

Normally I'd assume it's the same as madden and that it doesn't, however it's clear that the sim engine in HC06 doesn't use 15 min quarters. Peyton Manning only throws for 3,000-3500 yards despite being with a pass happy team. Average QB's barley get past 2000 yards passing.

So a two questions:

Does changing the quarter length effect the other teams sim stats?

and

Does changing the quarter length effect staff trust levels?

300 yards passing is normal in today's league, but since HC was made in 06 that's considered getting shredded by a passing attack. Defensive staff members all lose trust in you if that happens. But If quarter length was changed every team you played against would put up realistic numbers like that and it'd be impossible to retain defensive staff members.

EDIT: Did some testing. Can confirm quarter length doesn't effect stats. Ryan Tannehill threw for less than 3000 yards with 15 min qtrs. Here's the league leaders:

So if you change quarter length you'll be giving yourself an advantage over CPU teams. 5 min quarters suck but I don't want to cheat.
