Unfortunately no. You can only batch import the uniform parts. Fortunately tho you can speed up the process of opening/closing/batch importing/saving all with shortcut keys. :D

Edit:. To batch import you select the file or files to import. There is no script file.

The method you have listed in your OP to view DDS thumbnails in Windows Explorer is no longer available.

This should work as an alternative.

It's been a while since I've played or modded Madden, and I'm trying to get back into it. I downloaded DEX 1.5 from the original post of this thread, but it won't open for me on my machine. I'm on Windows 10. Any idea why it won't open, and any suggestions for a workaround to be able to open it? Thanks in advance!

When opening the 2018 and 2017 Port dats all player portraits are available to export until 2060 then all ports go Abnormal and nothing shows in the dat editor while the ports do show in game any ideas

Are the portraits file the default portraits?

If the portraits file was not modified using DEX then there is a high probability that you will encounter an error of some sort. BMP portraits that were imported by MUER are not supported in DEX.

I have mentioned on the site that I am willing to work with anyone on a portraits project to make a universal portraits file that could be used on different versions of Madden. If anyone (NickyJ?) is willing to work on a portraits projects let me know. Just edit the PNG portraits with a five digit number starting with two (00002). Example 00002-DakPrescott.png or 00002.png. and I can convert them to dds files. Either you or I can batch import them into a portrait file.

Installing the DirectX SDK will add support to preview DDS files in windows explorer. This is optional.

This is no longer available. Do you know of a replacement?

Try installing Paint.Net or Gimp. If that doesn't work let me look if I still have a copy the SDK.

I do have Gimp but I've never been able to preview DDS files with it. I can open them I'm pretty sure, but I can't preview them in Explorer.

I did find a copy and uploaded it to my MediaFire account.
https://www.mediafire.com/file/lmn6tuvj3ad57is/dxsdk_aug2006.exe/file

4bit dds files are not supported so you will see an X on the dds file.
