DatFileReplacer Mass-Import

I want to try an experiment with Madden's portraits. The basic idea is that as it stands now, Madden 06's portrait pack is not compatible with Madden 08. However, I do know that 06's portraits do work when imported into 08's portrait pack. What I want to do is, using the dat file replacer, export all the player portraits from 06's portrait pack, (I succeeded in this) and then import all the portraits into 08's portrait pack. My problem is that I can't find a way to do a mass import. (I think it would be far too much trouble to import the portraits one-by-one.)

Is there any way to do a mass-import of portraits from one pack to another?

That doesn't answer my question. I'm asking how to mass-import all of the portraits into a Madden 08 portrait pack at one time.

the 2005 portraits will over flow the 2007 portraits. In other words: there are more 2005 then 2007.

I think you are going to need to do this like a mod. Check out the different files (.IMPORT, etc) from the mod. That should help. I can help if necessary explain everything.

Have you tried renaming the 06 extracted portraits to the 08 extracted files with a batch file and then using the dat replacer to replace the 08 files with the 06 files??

To be honest, I haven't really done much on this since I last last posted in the topic. As usual, projects of greater importance shoved this one to the back of the back burner.

Can you upload a copy of the 06 portraits file and a copy of an 06 roster? I have an idea on how to do this, if successful I'll describe the steps for future reference.
