Good news! I was finally able to get that
MotioninJoy driver working with my Snakebyte PS3 controller I posted about a few messages back.
At $25 it would be a nice gamepad, but at $12 it is truly outstanding!
I really like the way that the analog sticks feel when playing MADDEN PC and MADDEN 13 on the PS3..
Only the online version of the
MotioninJoy software works for me so far, I'm still trying to get the local version working.
It only runs on my 64 bit Vista computer, as my trusty XP computer throws errors during any attempted upgrade to the dot net 3.5 needed by the cantankerous
MotioninJoy.
Now that I have used this PS3 controller emulating a XBOX gamepad with MADDEN PC I see that the simulator displays the XBOX icons which causes me to have to perform extra mental mapping while playing, as I think in Logitech symbols.

Has anyone figured out how to change the button icons so they show up correctly as PS3 rather than xbox in-game? I have been looking around and cannot find a solution.
Thanks
Welcome to the forum

I just saw your post and the timing is pretty good,
as it so happens that I am working on a little project to address this very point
of reducing our mental burden of translating these pesky XBOX symbols.
(the last two are not so bad for you)

The solution will allow you to replace all of those XBOX button icons with your favorite controller button icons.
The receiver icons also change.
However you might still need to memorize that XBOX to PS3 icon mapping graphic above....
depending whether or not I figure out how to change the offensive playbook graphs.

Fortunately our symbol translation capabilities are not as split second critical when selecting your offensive play as it is when looking for the open receiver.
