The Fox Football Family: A Multi-Generational Journey

The Fox family is a legendary name in American football, spanning multiple generations of elite athletes. Known for producing exceptional quarterbacks and offensive linemen, the family’s influence extends from high school championships to the NFL’s most iconic moments. The Fox Family stands as a testament to dedication, skill, and an enduring love for the game. Their legacy continues to inspire future generations of athletes.

John Lee Fox III (b. 1986)

      Zachary Fox (b. 2026)
        Luke Fox (b. 2048)
        Robert Fox (b. 2048)

      Austin Fox (b. 2029)
        Colin Fox (b. 2056)

FIRST GENERATION

John Lee Fox III: The Greatest Quarterback of All Time (GOAT)

John's football journey began at Hoover High School, a powerhouse in Alabama. As a junior he was named the starting quarterback, he quickly established himself as a leader on and off the field. Led his team to multiple (2) state championships. His standout performances garnered national attention and cemented his status as one of the top high school recruits in the country (5-star quarterback, the #4 Pro-style QB).

Committed to play at the University of Alabama, where again was only named the starting quarterback in his junior season. John led the Crimson Tide to a national title in his only season as a starter.

Despite finding success in every level JLFIII faced skepticism from NFL scouts. Drafted in the 3rd round fueled Fox's drive to succeed. He quickly proved the doubters wrong, earning the starting role already in his rookie season. His rise to stardom was meteoric, as he led the Dolphins to success almost immediately and became the cornerstone of the franchise for two decades.

Fox III is widely regarded as the greatest quarterback to ever play the game. His illustrious career set the gold standard for leadership, skill, and longevity in the NFL. Playing all 20 seasons with the Miami Dolphins, he exemplified loyalty and consistency, becoming the face of the franchise and a beacon of excellence for the league with eight MVP awards and ten Offensive Player of The Year.

After retiring from playing, John turned to coaching, returning to his alma mater, the University of Alabama, to lead the Crimson Tide football program to five national titles and nine SEC championships. His transition from player to coach was seamless, as he brought the same leadership, strategic brilliance, and passion for the game that defined his playing career.

After achieving unparalleled success as a college coach, Fox III made a triumphant return to the NFL, this time as a head coach. With two stints in the league, one with the Vikings (2 Super Bowl victories) and another with the Buccs (1 Super Bowl title with the first perfect season).

After retiring from coaching he founded the FOX cloth brand and The Fox Family Foundation.

John Lee Fox III’s impact on the NFL is unparalleled, with 10 Super Bowl rings across his legendary career as both a player and a coach.
His journey to double-digit championships solidifies his status as the most decorated figure in football history.

SECOND GENERATION

Zachary Fox: The Prodigy Quarterback

Zachary Fox carried the weight of greatness from the moment he stepped onto the football field, as the son of the legendary John Lee Fox III. Determined to carve his own path, Zachary quickly established himself as a prodigy, blending natural talent with relentless work ethic.

Zach’s football journey began at Wayzata High School in Plymouth, Minnesota. The starter quarterback since his freshman year, he didn't find success with the team, failing to win the state title (mostly because Eden Prairie was a powerhouse in football) but shinning with amazing individual performances (5-star quarterback, #1 Pro-style QB of the 2044 class).

Committed to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, following a different path than his father while embracing the pressure of high expectations. His time at Notre Dame was nothing short of extraordinary, back-to-back national champion and the first ever Fox to win the Heisman Trophy.

Zachary’s college success made him the consensus #1 overall pick in the 2047 NFL Draft, selected by the Washington Redskins and immediately became the team’s franchise quarterback already winning the Super Bowl in his rookie season. Zach and the 'skins have three Super Bowl victories until they part ways.

Now with the San Francisco 49ers, Zachary Fox is thriving under the biggest contract ever in NFL history. He achieved the ultimate goal once again, leading the 49ers to a Super Bowl victory and continues to seek new heights as he writes his next chapter.

Austin Fox: The Underdog Quarterback

Austin’s football journey began at Wayzata High School in Plymouth, Minnesota, where he spent one year as the backup quarterback of his elder brother. After that Austin transferred to IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, a premier sports institution that helped boost his skills (4-star quarterback) for the next level winning the national title in the process.

Committed to the University of Alabama, following in the footsteps of his father, John Lee Fox III. At Alabama, Austin have to wait like his father for the starting job at quarterback, who only came in the Cotton Bowl of the 2048 season (when the starter gets injuried). After that Fox was named the starter and led the Crimson Tide to a Fiesta Bowl win in the 2049.

Austin was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the third round of the 2050 NFL Draft, again like his father. However, Austin’s determination and ability to lead the team to greatness quickly proved his doubters wrong. Winning the starting job already in the preseason, Austin made an immediate impact in his rookie season, earning the prestigious Offensive Rookie of The Year award.

His leadership and clutch performance made him the foundation of the Bears’ franchise who win the 2054 Super Bowl with Fox as the MVP of that game.

THIRD GENERATION

Luke Fox: The Blind Side Protector

Robert Fox: The Anchor in the Trenches

Colin Fox: The Heir Quarterback

--

Roster: Default

Player Info:

John Lee Fox III
Age: 15
HT: 6'3"
WT: 183 LBS

Play Style:

Fox has the classic physical traits that are ideal for a pocket passer. He’s a big kid that can stand tall in the pocket and has room to add weight. He’s not the greatest athlete, but isn’t a slow-footed statue in the pocket either. His consistency with his mechanics is extremely impressive. He stays calm in the pocket and rarely gets off balance, even under pressure. His touch is great on deep balls. Fox is a big presence in the pocket, but he’s not a statue. He shows some improvisational skills at times. He’s not going to be a threat as a runner, but can get a first down if an opportunity to scramble arises. Fox is advanced with his arm and accuracy for his age. He has all the tools to develop into a player that starts for multiple years and becomes one of the top quarterbacks in the SEC.

In the last year Fox is a little bit upset, for not playing.. but understand
that two years learning about the college level is good for both, for him and for the Team..

After the spring game A-day, the head coach Mike Shula puts your trust in John to start this season under center...
but the relationship between the head coach and quarterback this not the best.

John Fox III stated that he had decided to skip his final season of NCAA eligibility to enter the 2007 NFL Draft.

Fox is criticized for declare to the draft early as a junior, but it was an inevitable situation
after all the sactions imposed at Tuscaloosa, and after the National Title is unlikely Fox could rise
his draft stock...

Image

After all this sactions the head coach Mike Shula is fired,
Alabama hire Nick Saban as new head coach.

Fox came to the NFL Combine with only one year as starting quarterback at Alabama... but made a undefeated campaign with the Crimson Tide...

2007 NFL DRAFT

Postby achernar » Sat Jul 18, 2015 8:00 am

One of the big stories of the draft as the selection between JaMarcus Russell and Brady Quinn
both are considered 1st overall pick in early mock drafts... In this night Russell was select in the first, and Quinn
slip to the 21 pick...

After JaMarcus Russell From LSU (Rd:1 Pick:1 Raiders), Brady Quinn From Notre Dame (Rd:1 Pick:21 Browns),
Kevin Kolb From Houston (Rd:2 Pick:36 Eagles), John Beck From BYU (Rd:2 Pick:40 Dolphins)...

With the 71th pick in the NFL draft, the Miami Dolphins select.............. JOHN FOX III, quarterback, Alabama.

Image

The fifth quarterback choose in the 2007 NFL Draft was John Fox III From Alabama (Rd:3 Pick:71 Dolphins).

The Dolphins was desperate in the quarterback position, the starting quarterback Trent Green is in Injury Reserve...
So the organization expend the 2 and 3 round picks in QBs...
