Hello everyone, this is huskereurocat welcoming you back to Madden 20 for the PC and the New York Jets Franchise. This week, the Jets are tested by traveling to Jacksonville to tangle with the Jaguars. The Jags are at the bottom of the AFC South at 2-7 and coming off the blowout of the Patriots last week, the Jets need to guard against being a little over confident going into this game. Now, I know that Jags are having a bad season, but anything can happen on the football field. Nick Foles is now their signal caller and is the #7 passer in the league, but what’s really surprising is that Jacksonville is dead last in the run game, which’s really strange since they have Leonard Fournette as their top ball carrier. I don’t quite get that! Bell may have a hard time finding running room again, as their defensive front is outstanding, headlined by star Calais Campbell. The middle of the field may be the answer in the passing game because their corners are exceptional as well. Jalen Ramsey is at the top of his game and throwing it his direction may be a mistake.

Hello everyone, this is Huskereurocat welcoming you back to Madden 20 for the PC and the New York Jets Franchise. This week, the Jets have a date in the desert with the Arizona Cardinals. Now in his sophomore campaign in the NFL, Kyler Murray has put up some pretty good numbers and has the number 6 offense in the league. The majority of that success is the running ability of David Johnson, so the run defense of the Jets, minus their star DT Quinnen Williams since his injury is going to keep him out for another month or so, will need to find a way to corral him a bit. The defensive, not counting the weaker line, is going to put Sam Darnold and the passing attack of the Jets to the test, as if that wasn’t the case last week with Jalen Ramsey having a banner day in Jacksonville.

Hello everyone, this is Huskereurocat welcoming you back to Madden 20 for the PC and the New York Jets Franchise. Today, it’s back home in Metlife Stadium to face another NFC West opponent in the Los Angeles Rams. If the Jets aren’t very careful, they could get upset today. Los Angeles may be near the bottom and their division and at 4-6, could be overlooked as to how good they really are. Jared Goff, now in his 5th season in the NFL, is a challenging QB for the Jets defense. He has a superstar at HB in Todd Gurley and a supporting cast in the receiving corps that could seriously test the Jets defense. They do have some soft spots in their o-line and New York needs to take advantage of that if they can. The defense is definitely a mixed bag of talent, but the Jets need to stay away from Aaron Donald’s side of the field in the running game and throwing deep against these safeties may be problematic.

Hello everyone, this is Huskereurocat welcoming you back to Madden 20 for the PC and the New York Jets Franchise. This week, the Jets invite the Patriots to MetLife Stadium for their second meeting of the season. The Pats are injury free coming into this game and I wouldn’t expect a pasting like the Jets gave NE in Gillette stadium just 4 weeks ago. The injuries to the Jets are substantial and they’re going to need to limp to the finish line in my humble opinion. The game plan today has to take into account those injuries and the key roles that will be impacted, especially on the defensive side of the ball. At this point there are four games left in the season and the Jets have 10 wins. If they can’t win at least a couple more games they could be in jeopardy of missing the playoffs altogether. As unlikely as that seems, they have a 4-game lead over the Pats in the AFC East, 4-games left to go, so you do the math. This will be a must win for the Jets if they hope to at least have a head 2 head lead over New England.
Let’s find out if New York can avoid being taken to school by the GOAT!

Hello everyone, this is Huskereurocat welcoming you back to Madden 20 for the PC and the New York Jets Franchise. This week, the Jets are in Orchard Park, NY for their second meeting with the Buffalo Bills. The Bills are having a really tough go of it this season and their hopes of contending for the AFC East have fallen short this year. Josh Allen hasn’t proved to be the answer at QB in Buffalo, because with Derrick Henry in the run game and a receiving corps led by speedster Tyreek Hill, those positions aren’t really the issue. They have a really good roster, but it may be Allen’s lack of accuracy that’s holding the Bills back. With the losses in the Jets defensive line, putting pressure on him may be an issue. With Buffalo’s d-line looking pretty stout, Bell may have a hard time finding room to run the ball. As hard as it is to say, it might be up to Darnold to make some plays in the middle of the field, because the secondary looks good as well.

Hello everyone, this is Huskereurocat welcoming you back to Madden 20 for the PC and the New York Jets Franchise. Tonight, were back in familiar surroundings in MetLife Stadium to face the Los Angeles Chargers. They’re coming off a 3-game losing skid and a win is a must for them if they plan on staying in contention for at least a wildcard berth behind division leading Kansas City. They still have Phillip Rivers, now in his 17th season with the Chargers and superstar HB Melvin Gordon III. As long as he can get the ball out in time to his receivers led by Keenan Allen and Hunter Henry Los Angeles possess a serious threat. Once again, this week, Darnold faces a secondary that’s good, but not great aside from superstar Derwin James at strong safety. He just needs to make a whole lot better decisions than he has in the past couple of weeks on when and where to throw the pigskin.

Hello everyone, this is Huskereurocat welcoming you back to Madden 20 for the PC and the New York Jets Franchise. Today is the last game of the regular season. New York is playing in the mile-high city against the Denver Broncos. The Broncos have had a turbulent year with Teddy Bridgewater as their number one signal caller, but one thing has been consistent this season for them is the running ability of both Phillip Lindsay and Royce Freeman. Together their approaching 1500 yards for the season and that’s probably what the Broncos need to rely on today. Since New York will be playing their backups on the defensive side of the ball, this could get interesting. Leveon Bell will be sitting this game out as well, but may be called on if the circumstances warrant him playing. A lot is riding on this game and since New York has now lost the lead in the AFC to the Cleveland Browns, if they lose to Denver, they could lose out on a bye week for the playoffs as well. Can the Jets be successful with a bunch of backups at the helm?

Hello everyone, this is Huskereurocat welcoming you to a snowy MetLife Stadium. It’s the Division round of the playoffs with the New York Jets franchise on Madden 20 for the PC. Today the Jets play host to the Kansas City Chiefs. New York spanked the Chiefs in Arrowhead in week 3 of the regular season, but Patrick Mahommes and company aren’t going to make this division game easy. They’ll be missing starters Duvernay-Tardif and Williams, which could make a big impact in the offensive production. The Jets will have to get pressure on Mahommes because he does have some good receivers in Sammy Watkins, Travis Kelce and the speedy Mecole Hardman. They have an outstanding d-line and very good secondary and when they met earlier this season, the Chiefs turned it over 3 times and it was there downfall. Things could be quite different here in the post season. Last season the Jets went one and done in the division round, losing to the Colts and are definitely looking for a better outcome this season. Can they get it done?

Hello everyone, this is Huskereurocat welcoming you to a snowy MetLife Stadium for the second week in a row. It’s the Conference Championship round of the playoffs with the New York Jets franchise on Madden 20 for the PC. The Houston Texans present a threat that the New York defense hasn’t seen just a bunch of this season. They currently have the number 31 rushing game in the league, but with a QB like DeShaun Watson and a receiving corps headed by, arguably, the best wide out in the NFL this season, DeAndre Hopkins, it’s hard not to have an offense that can score a lot of points, and in a hurry. As far as the defense, one place that you don’t want to be is anywhere near where JJ Watt is. If you take a look at footage of last week’s win against the Chiefs, the times that New York went to superstar Terrance Polk’s side of the field in the passing game is about how many times they need to go to JJ Watt’s side of the field in the running game. I envision the Jets running to the left side of the field a lot. The secondary is solid, but I wouldn’t call them great so there may be an opportunity for Darnold if, again, he can keep focused and throw the ball where it should be placed instead of in the hands of the defense. New York definitely needs to have a great game to pull this one off. Can they get it done?

Hello everyone, this is Huskereurocat welcoming you to Hard Rock Stadium and Superbowl 55 as part of the New York Jets franchise on Madden 20 for the PC. It’s the New Orleans Saints vs the New York Jets. Both the Saints and the Jets have won the Superbowl once before, but the Jets haven’t been there since they were the first American Football League team to defeat a power house National Football League juggernaut. That was back after the 1968 season with names like Joe Namath and Johnny Unitas. It’s fitting that the last time the Jets won the Superbowl in was here in Miami, but it’s a new stadium and a new era in football. It’s been a while, but the Jets have finally got there shot once again. The New York running game will have a big challenge in this one, since the Saints have a very good D-line. Darnold and company may be forced to pass the ball and with Marshon Lattimore and Kendall Fuller on the outside, he maybe a little wiser to try to find passing success in the middle of the field. One this is certain, one of these teams will earn a second ring.
