Conner should stay as #1 RB

After 3 games Conner has 213 yards Rushing and 139 yards receiving and 3 TDS...compared to Bell's first 3 games in 2017..180 rushing and 56 receiving and 1 TD.. So far Conner has been better

Considering that the Steelers are looking to trade Bell, it looks like they might actually keep him as number 1. Considering how he has 200+ yards despite not getting that many touches in Week 2, and being able to fix plays that seem broken, be an effective receiver and safety valve, and improving a lot in blitz pickup, he sure looks like a #1 back.

So after Week 3 Le'veon played 12 games

Carries: 269
Yards: 1,111
Average: 4.1
Per Game: 92.5

Conner has a higher floor (cause he shows up to practice), but he's not Le'veon. A good thing considering cap space.

At this point the Steelers have most likely parted ways on Bell..Conner averaged 71 yds/game thru 3 games if you take that x16 it will= 1136 yards for the season and his TD total would 16...That is not shabby, for being considered a non- #1 RB. Plus he wants to play and be part of the team...oh yes he is cheaper on a rookie contract.
