Wow

This team is really gonna go 0 and 16. Maybe 3-13 if they get lucky.
One year after making the playoffs.
Ouch.
Fire Reese, McAdoo and let a new GM decide if he want to draft a QB or keep Eli for a few more seasons.
Ouch.
So the Giants traded Beckham....

Wow

Hasn't this been the Giants every year since they made their second Super Bowl (XXXV)? They go from playoff contender to mediocre or just terrible the next...aside from the upsets in the previous 2 Super Bowls they made?

Here are my predictions...please don't get mad or anything...:

Lose at Broncos 27-13, 0-6
Lose to Seahawks 21-7, 0-7
Lose to Rams 17-13, 0-8 --at this point, McAdoo should be fired
Win at 49ers 28-21, 1-8
Lose to Chiefs 30-18, 1-9
Lose at Redskins 21-18, 1-10
Lose at Raiders 35-13, 1-11
Lose to Dallas Cowboys 30-10, 1-12
Lose to Eagles 28-10, 1-13
Win at Cardinals 30-13, 2-13
Win vs. Redskins 31-18, 3-13

Not really. I just started following in like 07, so:
07:10-6 SB
08:12-4, Plax shoots himself
09: Missed playoffs 8-8
10: Missed playoffs 10-6 tiebreaker to SB champs (Packers).
11: 9-7 SB
12: 9-7, needed Vikes to lose to make playoffs.
13: 7-9 with an 0-6 start :(
14: 6-10
15: 6-10
16: 11-5 Playoffs!
17: 0-16, maybe 1-15.
Just 09 were they significantly worse then expected.

Lose at Broncos 27-13, 0-6
Lose to Seahawks 21-7, 0-7
Lose to Rams 17-13, 0-8 --at this point, McAdoo should be fired

Win at 49ers 28-21, 1-8
Lose to Chiefs 30-18, 1-9
Lose at Redskins 21-18, 1-10
Lose at Raiders 35-13, 1-11
Lose to Dallas Cowboys 30-10, 1-12
Lose to Eagles 28-1, 1-13

Win at Cardinals 30-13, 2-13
Win vs. Redskins 31-18, 3-13

I could see this happening. Not sure about beating the Redskins though. And if they can lose to LA at home, they can lose in SF and ARI..
So the Giants traded Beckham....

Actually, if the eagles were to go for 2, and somehow ran back to their own end zone causing a safety, the giants would 1 point. Very obscure rule, but it exists.

That rule exists on extra points as well. Both ways, actually. If team A kicks, and team B blocks it, team B could, in theory, run backward and get a safety, which would be one point for the team that attempted the kick. The opposite is also true. If team A attempted the kick, and failed it somehow, and then ran all the way back to its own end zone, that would be one point for the defending team. The first scenario is far more likely than the second. Both are highly improbable.

It's very interesting. If you want to know more, watch SBNations video on weird football scores.
