But this is a perfect scenario to Draft a guy like Lamar Jackson and let him learn the game in pro level

I'd rather have Mason Rudolph as I don't believe running QBs can survive in the NFL, especially not a guy that only weighs 205.

Well, at least you are not from the people that thinks he should switch to receiver, or that Josh Allen is better than him (He isn't). He's a pretty good QB. Definitely thin, but quite good.

So was Teddy Bridgewater and RG3, when they were in college. I just don't think QBs of his size and skill set have fared very well at the next level and I would not spend a draft pick in the first two rounds on that type of QB.

Do you think Mason Rudolph is the better fit for the Jags, late in the first?

Possibly, but from what I have read about him and the highlights I've watched, it seems he is Bortles 2.0, so not sure I'd use a 1st on him. I think we will have to hope there is a Jimmy G type guy out there they can grab in round 2 or 3.

No one wants a Blake Bortles 2.0/Tim Tebow 3.0. I hope that the Jags don't buy the Josh Allen hype, but they need a QB because Bortles is just decent and a Tim Tebow clone, and everyone knows how that went. Everything they need is a better than decent QB to be a serious SB team, and while Bortles could be that guy ... he is most likely not, although this could back fire on me and he wins a SB. Anyway, I think one of the Jags priorities should be drafting a QB to compete with Bortles.

Yep... I dont see Bortles and the Jags winning the AFC with Brady and Big Ben out there

Maybe Luke Falk could be a good fit

He also got more rushing yards than passing yards the game before against the Bills. And the Steelers secondary this season was ranging between decent and bad. And it was the Jaguars Defense (Sacksonville) and their running game got them there in the first place.

It is not rare for the Steelers' secondary to be destroyed by bad QBs. Best example is Tim Tebow and the Broncos in the 2012 (IIRC it was 2012) AFC Championship. Then you have his clone, Blake Bortles.

What about a re-rematch, since the playoffs game was actually a rematch? :P

I'm just needling you now.
