NFL 2K3 on Dolphin Emulator (Editable)

Postby arden05 » Fri Jan 01, 2016 9:32 pm

NFL 2K3 (GameCube) on the Dolphin Emulator runs at full speed and is completely editable using the emulator's texture dump and load features. It runs flawlessly on my i5 CPU, intergrated graphics, 16 GB memory system. It would be another good option for a mod project. If a roster editor could be developed for it, I think it would be a huge breakthrough. NCAA football 2K3 runs flawlessly as well.

UPDATE 7/29/16:

I'm just going to leave these here

Has anyone been able to successfully edit it yet?

Yes, It can be edited. I have already done it. That's why I posted that it could be done ;) I'm working on a template for the uniforms. Currently working on the jersey template. I haven't had much time to work on it lately but it's coming along. Swapping out textures is really easy.

I've never seen it, but if it is anything like 2K5 it sounds interesting.
At this point my 2GB RAM Pentium4 @3GHz desktop running an ATI Radeon HD 5450 class graphics PCI card is a bit hardware challenged when it comes to decent Dolphin performance.
Hopefully by the end of the year I'll have a new (to me) refurbished Win7 box to play with, and it would be something high on my list to check out, although I must ask why 2K3, and not the beloved 2K5?
Perhaps there was no 2K5 on the GameCube?

That's great! I'm looking forward to some updates. Is there a chance to make a roster editor? It would be great!

As far as a roster editor, I wonder if FlyingFinn's age-old 2K5 editor would work with the game-saves.
I believe it works with saves from both, xbox and ps2, and with 2k4 saves.
Not entirely sure, worth a look, though
