Long time Pats fan here. I've been playing Madden since 94 and haven't stopped. I've always followed the forum but figured I'd take a stab at it. I appreciate the hard work that gets put into Madden 08 and really look forward to getting myself up and running.

I know there is a getting started guide post but is that the most up to date to follow initially?

I keep the Starting Guide for New Players up to date whenever new information becomes relevant. That will do a good job getting you started.

I've been playing Madden since '92 I cant stand what EA has done to the series
All Flash no Substance. My Favorite Era was the Mid 2000's games or what some call the PS2 Era.

Been looking for an in-depth football game for years. Very happy for all of the work put in to make this as modern as possible. Only things I can see that needs minor adjustments is QB tendencies resetting at progression weeks, the stats are very close to modern but not entirely, and the overall gameplay speed is very fast. If anyone has a remedy for any of those issues I'd appreciate pointing me in the right direction. Besides that all of the roster updates, editors, graphics packages, are working great. I was thinking of using a global editor to lower everyones speed to see if that helps slow things down.
