I Have A Doctors Appointment Tomorrow

Postby Col. Trautman » Fri May 22, 2020 1:11 am

Hey guys, I know it has been quite a while since I have been around, so here is an update. On May 11, 2020 I went to the Emergency Room thinking I was having a heart attack; my whole left side of my body was numb even my lips and tongue were numb. My heart would go from super slow to racing fast. My blood pressure was 153 over 99 with a pulse of 128. When my EKG came back normal, they started checking reflexes and things. They gave what could be described like a field sobriety test. I failed without having had a single drop. The doctor said that I may have multiple sclerosis due to my frequent migraines and the worsening numbness over the months, I am supposed to see a specialist tomorrow and they will decide if I need an MRI to all but finish the diagnosis. :cry: I am really scared... Please keep me in your prayers. I hope that maybe I just have too much anxiety and they can give me medication for it so these strange attacks don't come back and I don't have MS.... I will post back with an update when I get it. Stay safe everyone!

Hopefully it's nothing serious but regardless I wish you well. Try to keep yourself positive. Try to engage in your hobbies, talk with your loved ones... do what you can to keep your mind off of it until you get your diagnosis.

Don't fear, it will only cause you stress and negativity. Trust God and pray. Some verses I use to get through difficult times and daily encourage myself. Replace your full name in the places with "thee/him" and pray the verses below aloud without fear or shame of what others think. There opinion is not as important as your health and existence. There is power in the name of Jesus and speaking these words of life over yourself and over your body can literally transform your atmosphere and health.

A verse I love, the parentheses are where I put the Hebrew name of God for powerful prayer instead of "I".

Isaiah 41:10 King James Version (KJV)
10 Fear thou not; for (Yahweh) I am with thee: be not dismayed; for (Yahweh) I am thy God: (Yahweh) I will strengthen thee; yea, (Yahweh) I will help thee; yea, (Yahweh) I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Psalm 91 King James Version (KJV)
91 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

9 Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

God Bless You Brother be strengthened in the name of the Lord Jesus! -Ultimatum77

I have dear friend with MS. She's a fighter. When she was in Louisville, it was rough she became mostly bed-ridden. Her entire family mom,dad, sisters and her bf moved with her to Goodyear, Az. She's been there for 8 years doing better. She says the weather climate is better. she said her family gave her the strength. Don't be down, sad or fearful. Fight with no shame or fear.

On me, I had a reality scare back in feb. I had my colon examined, polyps were removed! But my doctor said I'm good but most important, she said not to worry! My dad and his dad passed with colon cancer. So it's hard no to worry! I figure just relax and enjoy the kids growing up! I'm 23 years away from retirement, but I processed paperwork for my farewell last week!

Keep it real with yourself, do your best!

Really sorry to hear about this Col. Trautman. Anxiety can do a lot of weird and bad stuff to your body. I've battled it myself. Hopefully that is what's going on and you'll be able to management. I'm also dealing with peripheral numbness. It sucks. Got a bunch of tests done at Mayo last year and they couldn't figure it out. I'll be pulling for you and praying that it is nothing serious! Keep your chin up!

Col. Trautman..

I have an aunt with MS she was diagnosed back in 1980..she is still alive and well. She is in a wheel chair and now in her 70's. Both my aunt and uncle live in a retirement community. She is a real fighter so there is hope, never give up fight for every day, every breath you take and you will conquer. My wife and I will always keep you in our prayers. Your part of this family and we are here.

Col. Trautman, I knew something was amiss indirectly. When I started the 2020 playbook project, I appreciated your feedback with helping me correct the broken logic in the plays I failed to qc! Then you went m.i.a and took a nice long heart-to-heart walk! Anyway like Bus36 stated, We are family, reach out if you feel! We are here! And I have new books for you to play with!

Have a wonderful day!

Thanks for the well wishes everyone! So far they think right now anyway that my anxiety was so bad it gave me these symptoms as my blood work came back good and the symptoms have been intermittent since then. They put me on Prozac for the next 30 days and I am dealing with the side effects of that right now, I happened to be awake for a bit so thought I would let you know. I have more follow ups next month, and we can hopefully learn more. The nausea from this stuff sure isn't fun...

I've been taking prozac for 4 years and it has never made me nauseated. It may not be the right medicine or it could be an allergy. I would keep a close eye on that.
