Replacing Team Logos (Titans to Oilers)

I've been scanning the forum for information about this and haven't found anything quite right, so I'll start a new thread...

I'd like to replace the Tennessee Titans logo with the Houston Oilers logo (along with field art, end zones, etc) in the FF mod, but it's not exactly clear how I should do that. I have the logos with the right size, pink background, and all that and with Madden AMP I can replace all the relevant information like team name, team colors, stadium, and all that, but it's not as obvious how I should install the logo. I've played around with Madden AMP and DAT file exporters but haven't found anything useful yet

Is there a walkthrough that could guide me through that process?

That's not how it works. You can only use in-game logos.

Correct - I've already got the logos et al in the custom art folder, and I'm trying to figure out how to swap the Titans logos for the Oilers ones in the menus and elsewhere

I am pretty sure you can change the team type to custom and then select the logos..... should work and the uniforms should work as well

Open the roster file in the db editor and select team and locate TYPE and then change it from 2 to 5 I believe..... been a while

Once you change the team type you should be able to edit the team in the game

Just tried this using the .fra files in NZA and AMP, I can't find a .ros file for some reason. I could export the Titans from the game, but it's a .dbt file. In any case, there was no clear spot to change the team type to custom, at least through the .fra file. I can change just about anything else - team colors, stadium, etc - but not team art. Any advice?
