2. Load the Xmod blank.ros in Madden and IMPORT the exported teams (see Note).
a. Save roster with a different name.
Note: teams will be listed alphabetically and will numbered ascending if you import them
if you are going to assign teams by conference and division read the following:
Sort column "K" (DISN) from smallest to largest.
Sort column "H" (DGID) from smallest to largest.
assigned the custom teams by conference and divisions by using column "O and P"
(xTDNA and xTLNA).
Sort column "N" (TORD) from smallest to largest,
then import the teams as they are listed in the xTDNA column.
3. Open saved roster in a DB_Editor.
a. IMPORT the Xmod - COACH.csv spreadsheet.
optional: edit the coach spreadhseet with coach names, apperance...etc
before importing the coach table.
4. EXPORT the TEAM table to a CSV spreadsheet.
a. Open the TEAM table spreadhseet.
5. Copy the yellow hilighted columns from the Xmod Franchise.xlsx spreadsheet to your exported
a. Save spreadsheet.
Note: if you assigned the teams by conference and divisions then also copy the orange
hilited columns (TRV1, TRV2, TRV3). These are the division rivals.
6. Import the saved TEAM table back into your roster using the DB_Editor.
a. Save roster.
7. Load roster in Madden and create a franchise.
Note: training camp is not available for custom teams. If a created team is in the
franchise file then open the franchise file using db_editor v3 and change the
TTYP=0 to TTYP=5 before starting the franchise.
Xmod blank.ros This roster was created by changing all of the team types to "old time" and
then have Madden delete the teams.
Xmod - COACH.csv In order to create a franchise, teams must have four coaches. Head Coach,
Defensive Coach, Offensive Coach and Special Team Coach.
