How to - Editing and Importing Portraits

Thanks!
Re: How to - Editing and Importing Portraits
Ok, I have another issue. I screwed something up while putting in new photo (IT WORKED!) and have zero idea how I did it.
So, I'm creating an all-time roster League with every Franchise's best players from 1970-2020. I have the rosters set and just need to do the photos. So, my first photo to edit was Ken Riley, CB from the Bengals. This thread has helped me a ton. Thanks for all who contributed to it.
So, here's my issue(s):
Using the editors I was able to input Riley. I was so excited. But then, I noticed something strange, a bunch of other photos on the team are now wrong. The default photos from the original madden roster changed somehow. Now, there are more modern photos mixed in with totally incorrect ones. For example, Carson Palmer now has a photo from his Cardinals days and TJ Houshmonsadah has AJ Green's photo. And the thing is....I didn't make any of these changes. I checked other teams and every team has a mix of modern photos and incorrect ones. Any idea what I did wrong?
I did download Nicky's photos on my PC, but as far as i know I didn't put them anywhere yet.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

What was the original portrait pack you tried updating the photos on? Did it come from Rogerjinx's rosters or something else?

I had the same issue with CS2. I've attached 2 dds extension files, paste them into your file format folder where photoshop is installed. One of them works but I can't remember which one.

I tested both. dds2.8bi doesn't work and dds.8bi just hangs like normal

Hmm. Check and see if it hasn't saved as a DDS in your files but not on the photoshop screen. The one that works is the plain .DDS file option when you select the format after "save as". Compatibility mode for CS2 possibly? Here's another DDS file extention that goes into the photoshop only file format folder, it doesn't work for me but maybe you'll have better luck.
