Dallas Cowboys: 2011-????

Well, I'm sure several people remember my journal from FF. I play as the Dallas Cowboys, and I play not for the games, but for the management. Transactions, offseason activities, front office things, etc. That is what I find fun. I use 80 players (now 90) in the preseason, and I try and make the roster management as realistic as possible. My games are normally blowouts, so I will not post any box scores. I will, however, post stats and detailed information on anything management related. I just finished the 2023 season (my 13th season in the franchise) and I plan to go on until either the world ends or someone threatens to kill me if I don't stop. Slightly morbid humor aside, I hope you like my journal. This is my current roster.

The Cowboys have nine free agents going into the 2024 NFL season. They are as follows:

QB Derek Harlan
RB Victor Osborne
WR Chester Gable
WR Patrick Sidney
TE Martin Watson
G Ronnie Dotson
G Mark McCormack
OLB Jon Mike Hunter
OLB Dwayne Jackson

Notables on this list include Harlan, who was a second-round pick in 2022; Dotson, also a second-round pick in 2022; and Hunter, a former member of the Air Force who sat out two years to serve in the Middle East.

Cowboys Re-Sign Practice Squad Players

The Cowboys made some expected roster moves today, re-signing all of their practice squad players from last season. WR James Summers, OT Rashad Walls, DE Reggie Logan, NT's William Cox and Joel Harris, ILB Chris Heatherington, CB Jon Holmes, and FS Roland Wiggins.
